Specification
The structure of GYFTY optical cable is to put 250μm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP), loose tubes (and filler ropes) are stranded around the central reinforcing core to form a compact and circular core, and the gaps in the core are filled with water-blocking fillers. A layer of polyethylene outer sheath is extruded outside the cable core to form a cable.

Description
The fibers, 250µm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant
filling compound. A Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) locates in the center of core as a non-metallic strength member. The tubes (and
fillers) are stranded around the strength member into a compact and circular core. After the cable core is filled with the filling
compound to protect it from water ingress, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.
